Glen Manor House is a true gem of New England, offering an intimate yet grand setting for a luxury wedding. This historic French-style estate transports guests to another era with its ornate wood paneling, grand fireplaces, and sweeping staircases. The carefully preserved interiors provide a refined backdrop for celebrations. Meanwhile, the expansive terraces and manicured gardens allow for seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Perfect for an elevated guest experience.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Glen Manor House is its versatility. The estate offers multiple enchanting spaces for different moments throughout the wedding day. Kayla and Taylor exchanged vows in the garden. The backdrop of the waterfront and lush greenery created a romantic and serene atmosphere. From there, guests were then welcomed onto the stone terrace for cocktails, where they could take in the golden hues of the late summer sunset before moving indoors for an unforgettable reception in the ballroom.
For Kayla and Taylor’s wedding at Glen Manor House, florals played a central role in creating an atmosphere of warmth, romance, and seasonal beauty. Every bloom was chosen with intention. We aimed for the florals to complement the venue while making the wedding feel draped in layers of late-summer abundance.
Inspired by the transition from summer to early fall, we designed a rich, gradient color palette that moved seamlessly from warm champagne, gold, and peach to soft mauves and rose tones, then deepened into lavenders and maroons. This carefully curated spectrum echoed the season effortlessly. Plus, it complemented both the intricate floral embroidery on Kayla’s veil and the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Locally farmed dahlias—one of the couple’s favorites—took center stage in the arrangements. From there, they were joined by lush garden roses, amaranthus, lisianthus, and delicate textural accents. The ceremony featured an entire floral aisle and a breathtaking floral arch installation, framing the couple as they exchanged vows beneath the towering trees of Glen Manor House’s garden. A perfect view!
At the reception, we designed a 30-foot floral garland for the head table, brimming with blooms and intertwined with soft greenery vines that climbed the historic balcony poles. Candlelight flickered against the lush arrangements, creating a layered, immersive experience for guests as they dined in the manor’s elegant ballroom.
Florals at Glen Manor House don’t just decorate the space—they enhance and elevate it. We designed every arrangement to feel natural yet luxurious, creating an environment that felt both welcoming and visually striking.
Kayla’s bridal look was a breathtaking reflection of the elegance and romance that Glen Manor House exudes. Every detail, from her gown to her accessories, was carefully chosen to complement both the historic charm of the venue and the floral artistry woven throughout the day.
Kayla’s wedding dress was also a masterpiece. It was timeless yet modern, featuring delicate floral embroidery that subtly echoed the lush floral installations throughout the venue. The soft champagne undertones of the gown added warmth and depth, mirroring the golden hues found in the floral palette. But her veil was the true showstopper—an heirloom-inspired piece adorned with intricate floral appliqués, a stunning detail that effortlessly tied together her entire bridal vision.
For the wedding party, the color story extended seamlessly into their attire. The bridesmaids wore dresses in a mix of soft rose, mauve, and dusty lavender. They were a perfect reflection of the gradient floral palette. This thoughtful choice ensured that every moment—whether captured in photographs or experienced in real time—felt beautifully cohesive. The groomsmen, dressed in classic black tuxedos with silk lapels, added an element of timeless sophistication, providing a striking contrast to the soft, romantic hues of the bridal party.
At Glen Manor House, where every space is rich with historic detail, these attire choices felt right at home. The overall aesthetic felt refined, organic, and deeply personal—exactly the kind of elevated, intentional design that leaves a lasting impression on guests.
As the sun set over Glen Manor House, guests entered the manor’s grand ballroom for an unforgettable reception. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting—candlelight flickered against the wood-paneled walls, and the floral installations that adorned the space made the room feel as if it had been blooming for centuries. Every detail was designed to enhance the guest experience, blending sophistication with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
At the heart of the reception design was the 30-foot floral garland that cascaded down the head table. Overflowing with lush blooms in the couple’s signature palette—champagne, peach, mauve, and deep maroon—the installation was complemented by candlelit table settings, gold-rimmed glassware, and elegant, textured linens. The tablescapes were carefully curated to echo the grandeur of Glen Manor House, striking the perfect balance between classic and contemporary elegance.
The evening was a celebration in every sense of the word. Guests dined on a thoughtfully curated menu, indulging in exquisite courses that reflected the couple’s love for elevated cuisine. The dance floor was alive with energy as music filled the manor, spilling out onto the terrace where guests sipped cocktails under the stars. With the estate’s sweeping gardens and waterfront views as a backdrop, the entire evening felt effortless—like a timeless European gathering where elegance and joy intertwined seamlessly.
For couples who prioritize ambiance, guest experience, and timeless aesthetics, Glen Manor House delivers on all fronts. Kayla and Taylor’s wedding was a true reflection of how thoughtful design and a historic setting can come together to create an unforgettable event.
